Our Barbell Basics class is a small group informational and instructional session designed for anyone trying CrossFit for the first time. We slow down our usual pace to guide you through the basic barbell exercises to get you familiarized with proper mechanics and technique, and get your body primed to join our group classes. CrossFit Hell’s Kitchen Barbell Basics is designed to ensure your success; we cover everything from our programming philosophy, proper exercise modifications and scaling and regulating individual intensity. It’s a great way to start your CrossFit journey and to get ramped up for our regular group classes. Because CrossFit Hell’s Kitchen Barbell Basics is in a small group setting, the coaches have plenty of opportunity to help you work on technique and get to know your unique goals and needs.
The STRONG portion is dedicated to pure strength. These brief and intense strength sessions are the key to building functional and absolute strength. We cycle through various Olympic and Powerlifting programs proven effective in increasing overall strength and power. Learn to lift well, learn to lift heavy, build a lean, strong body capable of more than you ever imagined.

We use traditional CrossFit workouts to get you in peak physical condition but with a twist. Our use of Heart Rate Monitors to gauge the appropriate intensity allows CrossFit Hell’s Kitchen coaches to tailor the MetCons (metabolic conditioning workouts) specifically to your ability and needs.
These MetCons combine olympic lifting, powerlifting, gymnastics, calisthenics, plyometrics and kettlebell work in varying degrees and durations.
We build strength, endurance, agility, technical ability, and general awareness of body and mind by training movements that support functional ability and translate to real life. And of course, there are the aesthetic benefits, too.
Miss a workout, looking to work some skills, or schedule too hectic to make regular classes? Open gym gives you the flexibility to get your workouts in, your way. Open gym is available 7 days a week.
Monday to Friday 1:00pm – 3:30pm.
Sunday 12:00pm – 2:00pm.
WOD = Workout Of the Day
Join us for a Saturday or Sunday WOD.
Saturday classes boast partner or team workouts. These fun faced paced classes are designed to build teamwork and camaraderie while pushing you greater fitness.
Sunday Classes are full hour long class consisting of but not limited to:
Warm Ups-Mobility-Connectivity/Core Work-Skill Work-Strength/Weightlifting-Metabolic Conditioning.
You’ll leave these classes drenched in sweat, feeling great, knowing you just had one of the best workouts ever!
